Maybelline V Face Duo Powder Review

Hey guys today I’m going to review the Maybelline V face duo powder. Maybelline launched array of contour products in their V face line one of them being the Maybelline V face duo powder.

Packing: The product comes in a pressed powder form. It is well placed in a black compact casing. The packing isn’t the best in this one, it is just decent enough. The compact includes a mirror and a flat brush which is never used by me but it is used so to say. Overall the packaging is good for people on the go and is travelling around.

Texture: The texture of Maybelline V face duo powder  is lovely. It is silky smooth to touch and the power is pressed very well. It is neither powdery nor difficult to work with. It has 2 shades present it in one is lighter while the contour shade is deeper. The lighter shade has a tad bit of glitter particles in it which isn’t a big issue as it doesn’t show up much on the skin. The contour shade has no shimmers.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation of both the product is just about right. This makes it easier to work with and you can take your time and blend out and add a product to bring out the right amount of product required.

I personally never used it to really contour and chisel my face as I find it a bit difficult to work with bigger brushes. You will end up dipping into the lighter shade whatsoever. So I use it to sent my entire face my mixing the 2 shades and having it match my skin tone which is great.The shade range is a bummer here. there isn’t much variety available. Also, the pigmentation isn’t the best either. I prefer the lighter shade more than the contour shade. It is miles better than the contour shade. The product stays on for a long time and keeps my makeup in place. It has been through dust, humidity and what not and has never disappointed me. I’ve been using this Maybelline V face duo powder for almost 2 years and that too regularly and have not hit pan on it. Overall if you’re a medium skin girl you can totally rock this product.
