Finding a sunscreen that feels comfortable on oily skin can take a little trial and error. A formula might look promising on paper, but the finish and how it wears throughout the day matter just as much. Today we will see about La Shield Fisico Sunscreen Review. I have already reviews few more sunscreen from Lashield and you can find it HERE.
Formula and Texture
This dermatologist-recommended sunscreen contains 25% micronized zinc oxide, making it an option for those who prefer mineral sunscreens. It is also sweat-resistant, which is a useful feature, especially when you want a sunscreen that fits into your everyday routine.
The application does require some patience. Like Suncros, La Shield does not disappear into the skin immediately. It leaves a visible white cast initially and needs some working in to make it look more even. If you prefer a sunscreen that blends effortlessly in seconds, this step might feel a little tedious.
Finish on Oily Skin
Once the sunscreen settles, the matte finish is its biggest plus point. It does not leave that greasy, oily appearance that can make sunscreen feel unappealing on already oily skin.
For me, the finish is a stronger selling point than the ease of application. However, a matte finish alone does not guarantee that a sunscreen will suit every person with acne-prone skin. How your skin responds to the complete formula matters too.
The Downside
My main complaint is that the sunscreen formula becomes crumbly after some time a few weeks. It use to be smooth at first but it comes crumbly Later.
Pros :
Mineral sunscreen formulated with 25% micronized zinc oxide.
Sweat-resistant formula.
Leaves a matte finish once settled.
Does not feel greasy or oily on my skin.
Cons :
Requires extra time and effort to blend.
Formula Becomes crumbly after a few weeks
Final Thoughts
La Shield has its strengths: a mineral formula, sweat resistance, and a matte finish that works well for oily skin. The initial white cast and the crumbling are drawbacks for me.
Has anyone else experienced crumbling formulawith this sunscreen? I would love to know whether you have faced the same issue.
