I was looking out for a face wash with glycolic acid, GA is well known to exfoliate the skin and improve the texture of the skin. That is when I came across Nioglow face wash, in 1mg.com. It claimed to be a gentle foaming face with pH balance. It has glycolic acid and salicylic acid as one of its active ingredients.
The packing of the Nioglow face wash is similar to Himalaya foaming neem face wash. It comes in a pump-type bottle, but the pumping mechanism gets stuck at times. I use it once a day. I use a pump of the face and apply it all over the face and give it a quick massage, then wash it thoroughly. In the pack, they have instructed to leave it for 20 seconds, but if I do that, it makes my skin becomes dry. Hence, I skip that step and wash it off immediately after a quick massage. UPDATE: After using this face wash regularly for 2 months my skin became super dry.
After using this face wash, I was able to see that my whiteheads have gone down. Other than that, I was not able to see any other difference in my skin.
Pros of Nioglow Face Wash:
- Affordable
- Reduces whiteheads
Cons of Nioglow Face Wash:
- Pumping mechanism does not work properly
- Not suitable for dry and normal skin
- Makes skin dry with regular use

Nioglow Face Wash is a decent face wash with glycolic acid. It makes skin super dry with regular use. I will not buy it again.

Reminds me of AHA glycolic acid face wash my sibling uses. I’ve tried 6% glycolic acid on my skin and liked it.
Thanks for the review 🙂 It has been some time I checked out 1 mg.
