Hey guys today I’m going to review my recent purchase Myglamm 3D Satin Matte Lipstick in the shade two broke girls. This lipstick is myglamm’s collaboration with the famous influencer, Aashna Sheroff. Myglamm is still less well-known brands but their packaging and products always interested me.
Packing: Onto the packing of the product, it is a white body with gold accent. The body is strong and sturdy and the cap is tightly packed. It doesn’t move or budge. It’s quite a task to even open it which is a good thing as you’ll be tension free about it opening up in your purse.
Color : Onto the product itself. The colour of the shade is based on an American show “two broke girls”. It is described as a milk chocolate brown shade. This is totally an apt nude shade for medium skin girls. I’m NC35 and it suits me perfectly. It is more on the brownish side of the nude spectrum. Girls with deeper skin tones can pair it up with a darker liner to a girl a fuller look.
Texture: The product is creamy and leaves a slight sheen on the first application. It also feels a little tacky at first but eventually, in a few minutes, things seem to look better. The lipstick goes to more semi-matte finish and looks oh so fabulous. It is highly pigmented even the slightest swipe provides a rich colour.
It stays strong for good 4-5 hours but will require touch-ups if you’re eating or drinking throughout the day. It does settle a bit into the fine lines which is something I don’t like. Even the touch up feels like the lipstick is caking up. Also, it is priced at ₹495 which a bit too expensive given how many better lipstick we have from brands like Maybelline, Lakme etc. at a lower price range.
Price: ₹495
Pros of Myglamm Satin Matte Lipstick:
Buttery soft
Great pigmentation
Amazing packaging
Cruelty-free
Semi-matte look (Doesn’t dry out lips)
Cons of Myglamm Satin Matte Lipstick:
Caking up while reapplication
Settling into lines
CC Rating: 4/5
Myglamm Satin Matte Lipstick – two broke girls is highly pigmented, has a semi matte finish and stays on for 4 hours but the down side is it settles into lip lines and appears cakey if reapplied. Overall it’s a decently performing lipstick.
