MAC Lustre Lipstick Touch Review

I am not a big fan of matte lipsticks, they make my lips dry, and I’m not too fond of that feeling. One of my friends suggested me to try out MAC Lustre Lipsticks collection. These lipsticks are designed to moisturize as well as give a beautiful sheen to the lips. I swatched a couple of shades at the MAC store and ended up buying MAC Lustre Lipstick TOUCH.

MAC Lustre Lipstick Touch Review

MAC Lustre Lipstick Touch is a peachy cinnamon shade, kind of similar to my lip colour. The pigmentation is incredible; two swipes, and you are ready to go. Spreads smoothly like butter and has a beautiful sheen to it. As it is a moisturizing lipstick, unlike matte, it does transfer and has less staying power. It stays on my lips for 3-4 hours if I am not eating anything, and it fades off evenly. You can improve its staying power by using a lip primer before applying it. The lipstick feels super light, and my lips stay hydrated when ever I wear this lipstick.

I am NC 42, and the colour does suits me well. This lip colour looks great when paired with smokey eye makeup. It does transfer and fades away quickly when I eat or drink anything.

I love that shade. It would work well with a variety of skin tones.
