MAC Strobe Cream Review:
MAC Strobe Cream Pinklite comes in opaque tube type packing and the color of the strobe cream is displayed on it for ease of identification. The strobe cream can be used as moisturizer, highlighter or by mixing it with foundation. MAC strobe cream is easy to blend, it does not leave any patch or streak. The formula is light weight you and does not clog pores. After applying the strobe cream you get healthy radiance, even though the cream has pink micro pearls, once applied it is not visible. All you see is naturally glowing skin.
I prefer using it as a base before applying makeup as it smoothens skin and give a beautiful base to apply makeup. After applying the foundation, If I need to highlight my nose or cheek bones I just take a tiny amount of the strobe cream and apply it on those areas. For daily office use you can apply the strobe cream and follow it with MAC pressed powder, for special occasions you can apply it before foundation and highlight the areas of you choice after foundation and follow it by application of foundation powder for that subtle glow.
***You just need a tiny amount of strobe cream, if you use a lot you will end up with oily skin.
Pros:
- Smoothes skin
- Gives healthy glow
- Dewy finish
- No breakouts
- Travel friendly
- Can be used as highlighter
- Not a glittery highlighter
Cons:
- Expensive
CC Rating: 4.5/5
I am not a big fan of highlighters, so MAC strobe cream pinklite is perfect for me. It gives the mild highlighting effect without going overboard. Even though it is expensive, all you need is a tiny amount to achieve the healthy dewy skin look. If you are skeptical about trying, buy the mini version and then go for the full size.
