Faces HD Matte Lipstick- Obsessed Review

Since a long time, I was looking for some nude colors. I was bored with the regular nude brown colors and wanted to try something different. I have always stayed away from the regular light pinks which fall in the nude category. I always thought that since I am a dusky-skinned girl, thus pink is something which is not my cup of tea. I always thought that light pinks will wash me out and thus I never dared to try those colors. But one fine day while mall hopping I tried light pink and I loved that color on me. It was that perfect sort of light pink which looked like nothing yet very classy on my lips. I wanted to try more and thus I dared to go ahead and tried Faces HD Intense Matte Lipstick Obsessed, a light orange  lip shade which would feature as a different nude for my dusky complexion. And here is the review of it.

How to apply – Lightly scrub your lips with sugar and honey or any lip scrub of your choice. Then rinse your lips with cold water. Let it air dry. Apply a nude lip balm underneath. Let it settle down. After 5 minutes apply a thin layer of lipstick at the lower lips and then apply a thin layer at the upper lips. Let it rest for 5 minutes and then lightly tap your lips with one another.

Faces Canada Ultime Pro Hd Intense Matte Lips + Primer – 15 Obsessed comes in a retractable packaging. Recently I had several failed attempts with retractable packaging and thus I wanted to be very gentle with this one. But thankfully there is no such problem with this lipstick because there is a click sound when you take out excess of this lipstick and that’s when you will know that you need to stop.

Coming to the shade obsessed. This is an orange shade but quite a different orange. The shade is truly stunning and it looks gorgeous on lips. This is a burnt orange which is very much for the Indian skin tones. The shade is a perfect different kind of nude shade. It can be easily worn with both ethnic and western wear. Texture-wise, this lipstick is very smooth. It feels like butter on lips and it glides very smoothly. The lipstick has a feathery touch and you won’t feel much discomfort or heaviness feeling on the lips. The lipstick is perfectly moisturized and thus your dry lips will thank you for this lipstick. Plus, your lips won’t end up feeling chapped and the lip lines won’t be highlighted even after long hours.

The lasting power, the shade is stunning. It will last quite long on the lips and the shade is truly beautiful. The lipsticks last for good 6-8 hours and you won’t feel any heaviness or chapped feeling on the lips. also, your lip lines won’t be highlighted as well.
