Spicy Chilli Paneer is a very quick and easy to make appetizer. It can also be taken as an evening snack. Now let us see how to make Chilli Panner step by step. You can have it along with ghee rice or any pulao.
Ingredients :
Onion- 1 (Cut in to cubes)
Green Chili- 1 (slit Open)
Paneer – 250gm
Oil – 2tbsp
Chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – Pinch
Salt – To taste
Marinate :
Cut the panner in to long slices and add chili powder and a pinch of salt to it and marinate it for 10 minutes
Method :
1. Heat Oil in a pan, add slit open green chili and saute it for a minute, you can close the pan as the chilli sputters all over the place.
2. Add a pinch of turmeric, saute for 30 seconds, not more than that otherwise the turmeric would burn. Then add onion and cook until it turns light brown in color.
3. Add the marinated panner, cook each side until it turns in to golden brown color. Once it is done immediately remove it from the pan, if not paneer will become hard.
Now the spicy paneer is ready to serve.
