I recently hauled a few sugar products from their official app. I wanted to try Sugar Tipsy Lips Moisturizer Lip Balm as it has been claimed as game-changer by many beauty enthusiasts. Sugar lip balm comes in few variants, I opted for Mojito as it does not have any prominent color to it. In This review we will delve into its packaging, staying power, fragrance, and overall performance.
Price: Rs.199
Packaging: The lip balm comes in a sturdy, travel-friendly tube with a twist-up mechanism. The vibrant, colorful packaging reflects Sugar’s signature style. The lip balm has mild green color but when applied the color is not seen.
Fragrance: The lip balm has a sweet, mint aroma that’s not overpowering. The scent fades slightly after application, leaving a pleasant, subtle fragrance.
Staying Power: Sugar Lip Balm provides decent longevity, last for up to 3 hours without reapplication. The formula hydrates and softens lips, provides a subtle shine, helps reducing appearance of fine lines and dryness. Moving on to downside it has petroleum jelly and paraffin wax as main ingredients. I also think it feels little heavy omy lips, when I compared it to lip balms made with natural ingredients.
Pros:
– Decent moisturization
– Last for 3 hours
– Travel-friendly packaging
– Affordable
Cons:
- Not suitable for very dry or chapped lips
- Has petroleum jelly and paraffin wax
- Feels little heavy on lips
Sugar Tipsy Lips Moisturizer Lip Balm is perfect for those with normal to dry lips. It hydrates lip and adds a touch of shine to it. Ideal for daily use, it’s an excellent addition to lip care routine on a budget friendly price. But if you are into beauty products with natural ingredients, this one will disappoint you. Are you some one with very dry or chapped lips? then this lip balm is not made for you.
