I have been using Chosen By Dermatology Light Routine Gentle exfoliator for past 4 months and here is the review. I got my light routine exfoliator from chosen by dermatology website. Light routine gentle exfoliator is a salicylic acid peel. They have these exfoliator in different concentration, as it is my first home peel I opted for gentle exfoliator.
Chosen Light Routine exfoliator comes in a glass bottle. As per the instructions, it has to be used once a week for 10 weeks and then you can taper it to once every two week. As it is a peel, I use it as my night routine. I wash my face, pat it dry and then apply a single coat of the product, leave it for a minute and then wash it off with a mild cleanser.
Usually I don’t apply anything after this peel, but if my skin feels dry, I follow it by a light moisturizer. It takes around 6 weeks to see visible difference, but it works on acne immediately and helps dry it out within a single use. After using it for 2 months, I was able to see difference in my pore size, little reduction in whiteheads and blackheads. I can also say that it gave a nice glow to my skin. One downside- I was not able to see any difference in reduction of my blemishes or skin tone.
Once you start using chemical peel treatments, keep in mind that it is essential to use sunscreen regularly to protect your skin from sunburn. Also remember that less is better when it comes to the application of chemical peels.

Chosen Light Routine exfoliator gently exfoliates skin and reduces acne. It gives a beautiful glow and brightens up the skin but if you want to work on hyper pigmentation or blemishes, check out other chemical peels.
