Revlon is one of my favourite brand when it comes to Eye makeup products. I usually use Revlon colour stay eyeliner and Sugar heavy duty kohl as my kajal. But both of these eyeliners were out of stock due to the lockdown, so I ended up buying Revlon vinyl eyeliner midnight mystery. I have been using it for 3 months and here is the review.
Revlon vinyl eyeliner midnight mystery is black color pencil-type liner. The eyeliner is super creamy and you need to use little pressure to apply it on your upper and lower lash lines. It gives a black opaque finish in one to two swipes. I was super impressed with their pigmentation and creaminess. We can also use this eyeliner to create smoky eyes, but you have to work on it quickly as they get set within a couple of minutes. Once set, they stay in place for 6 hours but they smudge a little by the end of the day.
We can easily sharpen this liner with a sharpener, but it becomes dull quickly due to its creamy texture, so if you are into drawing thin lines, this one will disappoint you. On the other hand, it is waterproof and smudge-proof to an extent.
Pros:
- Creamy texture
- Good pigmentation
- Fragrance-free
- Almost Smudge-free
- Waterproof
Cons:
- Not ideal for drawing thin lines
- It might smudge a little if you have oily skin
Price: Rs.750
Revlon vinyl eyeliner has good pigmentation and creamy texture and a stay time of 6 hours. But if you are into thin lines and hate sharpening, this eyeliner is not for you. I expect more from this liner for its price, I prefer Revlon color stay eyeliner more than this one.
CC Rating: 4/5
