7 Life lessons from Indian Horror Movies

“When there is no imagination, there is no horror.” Do you know that scientist have done some research and come to the conclusion that horror movies are good for health? They say that watching horror movies releases neurotransmitters that keep your brain alert for a while and the adrenaline rush mobilizes the immune system. Recently, I have watched a few horror latest Telugu movies in ZEE5, and here are some life lessons we can learn from horror movies.

1. Never go to an unknown place alone: We have seen in many movies and even in real life that going to an unfamiliar place is risky and highly dangerous. Especially if the area is deep down in the woods, so don’t do it.

2. Trim your garden: If you have a jungle in the name of a garden, it is time to clear up your bushes and messy plants. Having an unkempt garden is like asking for trouble, a killer could easily hide behind those 8 feet bushes and snatch you out of your house. Do yourself a favor and trim those messy plants and replace it with some flowering plants which are easy to maintain.

3. Never go near a haunted house: Don’t ever go near a haunted house even for a dare. Do not touch any strange things near the haunted house or any strange things that look haunted. Why on earth do you want to take any unnecessary risk?

4. Always kill the killer/ghost twice: Never assume that the ghost/killer is dead with one stab. If you are stuck in a haunted situation, do not hesitate to overkill. When you mess with the killing part, don’t forget that your game is over.

5. Be smart when the power goes out: When the power goes out in a stormy night, pile up all the weapons, candle and make sure that all your main doors are locked. Don’t go out in the garden or basement; that’s what precisely the ghost will want you to do, be smart, and save your life.

6. Pay attention to kids: If your kids say that they see some creepy things around the house, listen to them, and pay attention to find out whether it is true.Kids have incredible instincts in real life as well as a horror story, so please listen to them when they complain about seeing dead people.

7. Keep yourself equipped: By any chance, if you are compelled to be at a creepy house or cemetery, make sure you have a weapon and some holy things with you. Nope, cell phones or flashlights do not count as a weapon; the demon could just finish you off with the tip of its finger.
