WishCare Fermented Rice Water Shampoo, conditioner and Oil Review

Rice water is one of the famous ingredients of Korean skincare and haircare products. Fermented rice water has Selenium, Magnesium, Folic acid, Niacin, Vitamin K, and Amino acids. These are the same nutrients that are usually present in oral supplements for hair growth, which has some annoying side effects like bloating and constipation. As rice water has so many benefits, I thought I should try them out. I bought Wishcare fermented rice combo kit a couple of weeks back, it has shampoo, conditioner and oil.

WishCare Fermented Rice Water Shampoo and conditioner come in a pump type bottle. Both shampoo and conditioner have a mild and pleasing fragrance. I am kind of addicted to their conditioner fragrance; it is too good. The quality of the packing is good, the pump works well. Both shampoo and conditioner are free from sulphates and parabens. They have fermented rice water, vitamin E, soy protein, olive oil, fenugreek extract, rosemary extract, coconut oil and almond oil as their key ingredients, which is quite impressive. 

WishCare Fermented Rice Water Shampoo does not lather much as a regular shampoo, but it effectively removes the oily and grim out of the hair. As this shampoo is sulphate free, do not expect a lot of lather from it. One pump of conditioner was more than enough to condition my shoulder-length hair.

My hair felt frizz-free, silky and smooth after using it. After using it for two weeks, I was able to see that my hair fall has reduced a lot. The rice water was working its magic on my hair 🙂

Moving on to the Rice hair oil, It comes in a bottle along with a scalp applicator. As I apply only very little oil to the scalp, I do not use the applicator. Fermented rice oil is made with 100% natural oil. It is free from mineral oil and artificial fragrance. It does not have fermented rice water as an ingredient in it, but it is a combination of oils like sesame oil, rice oil, vitamin E, heat germ oil, argon oil, coconut oil and rosemary oil. The oil is light in consistency like serum and has the refreshing fragrance of rosemary. It nourishes the hair without making it super oily.
