Wavy hair is a dream for all the thin haired girls like me. I am not a fan of poker straight hair and I always love the wavy curly and messy effect on my hair. They are perfect to give me a full head look. Since time immemorial I have been looking for permanent ways to make my hair wavy. But I came to know that there is no such permanent way and you will have to go through multiple salon sessions for smoothening and conditioning. And that is when I gave up my dream of having wavy hair. But then the hair freak in me woke up and said that how about trying some home based tricks. And thus here I am listing down some of my personally tried, tested and loved tricks to get wavy hair at home without chemical treatment–
1.Braid Braid – This is something I personally love. You can leave your hair braided in a tight braid overnight. In the morning loosen your curls and then get beautiful wavy hair. Or you can also make braids when your hair is wet and apply some low degree of heat. But I don’t personally recommend to play with your hair when it is wet. 2.Hair Knotting Technique – This is highly applicable for both loose and fine wavy hair. Make a top knot, tighter one and then leave it for some time. Within some hours you will get beautiful loose wavy hair. But if you want the tighter and long lasting waves on your hair then make multiple and tighter top knots on your hair. After some hours they will give you party ready wavy hair.
3.Scrunch the ends – The beauty of wavy hair is actually at the bottom. So, why not use a light weight stylish mousse at the end. This will ensure that the ends are nicely scrunched and then you have that gorgeous uneven wavy finish in your hair.

4.Scarf – How about tying your hair tightly with a scarf. This will give you that uneven natural wavy look. But please note that use a chiffon scarf and let it tightly sit on your hair for minimum 3-4 hours. Then only you will be able to see Brazilian natural wave.

5.Straightener – This is a very popular method of getting stylish wavy hair with a straightener. Just keep twisting the straightener throughout your hair and tada you can enjoy beautiful wavy hair and that too with a straightener.

6.Small Barrel Curl – How about using a small barrel curl for your tighter wavy hair. There are different types of curling wands available. And you can chose the one as per your choice. Large curling wands will give you loose curls and henceforth.

7.Wavy hair Extensions – how about using wavy hair extensions for your hair? This will give you those beautiful waves which you will love and that too extremely easily. And these wavy hair extensions are extremely inexpensive as well. When going for hair extensions opt for Virgin Curly Human Hair.
8. Sea Salt Hair Spray – Another great product to play with wavy hair. Begin by blow drying your hair with a diffuser and then use sea salt texturizing spray on your hair. This will give you big and natural sea waves kind of a look.
9.T Shirt – How about tying a T-Shirt on your hair. Yes, you heard it right. When your hair is semi wet, wrap a tee shirt around it. This will help to get those natural beautiful waves on your hair.
