Beauty blender created a big buzz in makeup world but the price of it made many people including me to deter from it. When Real technique came up with something similar to beauty blender I was super excited to try it out.
Miracle complexion sponge is orange in color and have a large side to blend large areas of face like cheeks and forehead. It also has a flat edge to work around eyes and nose. The tip of the sponge can been used to cover up imperfections with concealer.
It works well on liquid as well as cream foundation. I use the sponge by soaking it in a cup of drinking water for a minute and squeezing out the water from it. The sponge increases about 50% in size after soaking.
The MAC Match master foundation looks natural when applied by dabbing motion. Does it soak up the product? Yes, but it is negligible. I just need an extra pump of liquid foundation when I am working with this sponge. As far as the cream foundation is concerned, I did not need any extra product. Coverage can be build up easily without looking cakey and made up. Whenever I use the sponge for applying foundation, the process become easy and quick. The make up finish is also flawless and natural.
I have been using this sponge for a year and it did not tear or loose it shape. It can be easily cleaned using baby shampoo.
