Rava ladoo or Sooji ladoo is an easy to make recipe. It is made during festival like Diwali or Pongal in India. Let us see the detailed recipe to make rava ladoo at home.
Ingredients :
Rava (Sooji)- 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Cardamom pod -2
Cashew – 2 tbsp
Raisin – 1 tbsp
Method :
1. In a pan dry roast rava in low flame until it aroma releases. Grind rava in to fine powder.
2. Powder(grind in a mixie) the sugar, then add cardamom pods and grind it again. Mix the rava with powdered sugar.
3. Heat ghee in a pan, add the cashew nuts and raisins to it. Fry them until it changes in to golden brown in color.
4. Add the ghee to the mixture little by little and mix it with a spatula. Once the heat is bearable take a hand full press it (in to spheres/ball shape) and make ladoo.
5. Store it in a air tight container.
