I am a big fan of Nayanthara’s saree collection, according to me she is one of the celebrities who brought back saree to its glory. I was awestruck by the maroon saree which she wore for cine award. I wanted to recreate the saree look and that’s when I stumbled upon Huts and Looms.
Huts and Looms sarees are handwoven and handloomed by the weavers of West Bengal and Orissa. I was impressed by the fact that their sarees are Eco-friendly and sustainable. We can buy sarees, blouses as well as fabrics from their website. Hutsandlooms.com was easy to navigate and details about the saree fabric, color and length could be founds in the description. They also have easy refund policies as well. After going through all their pretty collection, I selected the maroon saree which was 90 % like the one Nayanthara wore for zee awards.
Once the saree was shipped the tracking ID was sent to my what’s app as well as email. Saree was packed beautifully in huts and looms cloth bags; it was quite thoughtful. I must say that the saree fabric and color looked more beautiful in person than their website photos.
Pallu of the saree had beautiful pallu knots. Material was soft as a feather, must try for women who likes weight less sarees. In short, the saree was epitome of elegance and tradition.
SAREE TIP: If you want to look slim in saree, always opt for sarees which are soft and light weight. Also make sure that the blouse complements your body shape.
I love their ice gola saree collection and here are few of my favorite from that collection. You can use it as in inspiration to recreate Nayanthara’s look.
I am happy that I got saree which was similar to Nayanthara’s maroon saree from Huts and looms. If you want to look simple yet sophisticated and confident in saree, Huts and looms sarees are a must try for you.
