Cheese lovers will love this Cheese cutlet, it has mild flavor of cheese along with vegetables. Perfect snack for a rainy evening. Let us see the step by step recipe to make yummy cheese cutlet.
Ingredients :
Potato – 2
Grated Cheese – 1/2 cup
Onion – 1
Peas – 2 Tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Oil – To shallow fry
Bread Crumbs – 1/2 cup
Corn flour – 1/4 cup
Corriander – 1 tbsp finely chopped
Salt – Pinch
Method :
1.Boil the potato, grate them and add grated cheese to it and mix it well.
2.Add salt and finely chopped corriander to it.
3.Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add finely chopped onion. Once it turns translucent in color add ginger garlic paste.
4.Add chilli powder and green peas, cook it until oil separates.
5.Mix the cooked vegetables and the potato together.
6.Make patties out of it. Add cornflour to water and make a thick paste out of it, dip the patties in the cornflour mixture. ( Mix cornflour with little water and make a thick paste )
7.Immediately roll it in bread crumbs and shallow fry it.
8.Serve it hot with tomato sauce.
Notes :
- I have added peas in the cutlet, you can add vegetable of your choice.
- Mozzarella cheese works well for this cutlet.
- Immediately dip the cutlet in bread crumbs after dipping in cornflour, otherwise the cutlet might break up and absorb loads of oil.
- I have tried make it with cheddar cheese, it taste good and gives a cheese oozing cutlet. But the down side is the cutlet might break up little when over cooked.
