I love color eyeliners but the problem is that I have dark eyelids and most of the colors like brown, purple and grey and even dark greens don’t show up on my eyelids. How to Apply : Before applying the kajal, I make it a point to clean out my eyes. I wash my eyes either with a face wash or simply by patting water and then let it air dry. And then finally I apply a layer of face powder and then apply a single layer of kajal at both lower and upper eye lid. You can obviously reapply if you want to go for the rich deeper look.
My experience with Chambor Intense Gel Eyeliner Pencil – Sapphire Blue
The chambor eyeliner pencil comes in the regular pencil style packaging. This pencil needs sharpening and you also get a sharpener with this one. Many might feel that regular sharpening might cause wastage but I have experienced the twist up packaging tip breaking many times. Thus, I don’t feel any problem with this packaging.
The shade sapphire blue is a stunning and eye catching shade. It is pretty and has that perfect pop of blue without going over the top. The shade is not very dark blue like the navy blue it has equal mix of silver and blue. It is a matte shade and I am personally not a fan of shimmer shades on my eyes.
Pigmentation wise the shade is superb. You would get bang on superb pigmentation in one swipe only. The pencil is stunning and has that perfectly pigmented look. And I personally love pigmented eye pencils because repeated application might hurt my eyes also. I have really sensitive eyes and I wear lens.
These pencils have not been hurtful to my eyes. They are quite comfortable and thus won’t bother me if there are any problem to my eyes therein. These pencils are quite smooth as butter. The texture is extremely smooth and creamy and thus there is no heaviness or tuggy feeling on the eyes. They are quite lightweight on my eyes and thus I can wear them all day long.
Lasting power of this kajal is much better than other color eyeliner. It easily survives throughout the day. If you are in an controlled environment then the eyeliner will easily survive the entire day. But if you are outside in a hot and humid climate then it might begin to wear off after say 5-6 hours of wearing.
