I have always been a fan of Sugar eye makeup products, when they launched Eyes Eyes Baby Gel Eyeliner I was eager to try it. Did it live up to my expectations? Keep reading to know more about it.
Price : Rs.499
Sugar Eyes Eyes Baby Gel Eyeliner comes in black shade- esmeralda. It is a twist up gel eyeliner pencil with liner on one end and sharpener at other end. The pigmentation is average it is not jet black like sugar heavy duty kohl or revlon colorstay one stroke eyeliner.
The formula of the liner is dry and quite hard to apply on lower lash line. It has to be swiped around 10 times to get a decent pigmentation on the lower lash line. This tugging of the lash line and dry formula makes application of this eyeliner a tiresome process. Even on upper lash line it does an average job only, due to its dry formula and low pigmentation it has to be applied around 3-4 times, hence drawing smooth thin line an impossible task.
Sugar Eyes Eyes Baby Gel Eyeliner is true to its claim of being water proof and smudge proof. The eyeliners sets quickly so if you want to create a smoky eye you have to work super quick.
Pros:
- Nice packing
- Comes with sharpener
- Water proof
- Smudge proof
- Matte
Cons:
- Formula is dry
- Average pigmentation
- Has to be swiped several times to get decent pigmentation
Sugar Eyes Eyes Baby Gel Eyeliner has disappointed me big time. After reading their description I was expecting a creamy gel liner with good pigmentation which settles down into a matte finish but in reality pigmentation is average, the formula is dry, and it has to be swiped several times to get a decent pigmentation. It doesn’t smudge and last for 6-8 hours, but the formula makes it hard to work with. Getting precise line is a challenging task, I will not repurchase it again.
