Maybelline clear glow compact comes in a pink coloured two-sectioned box, one for compact and the other for the sponge. It has a mirror, which comes in handy during touch-up. Sponge applicator quality is good, it does not wear or tear even after washing. This compact can be used in dry as well as wet state. It works best on the flawless skin; it gives a light coverage and control oiliness. I prefer using it with a brush, as it gives more control of the application than sponge.
If you have blemishes, cover them up with the concealer before applying this compact. If you give more than two more coats with this powder, it leaves a white cast. It is light to wear and spreads out evenly. It has sun protection of SPF 26. It has a staying power 3 hours. It does not lead to any breakout on me. This compact comes in 5 different shades for fair to medium skin, it would be nice if they introduce more shades for dark skin tone.
When it comes to instant fairness and smooth even skin claims, they are false, but I can’t complain much about that, as I feel that it does a good job for the price we pay for it.

Maybelline clear glow compact is one of the budget friendly compact, it control oiliness with light coverage. Apt for beauties with flawless skin and normal to oily skin type. If you are looking for a compact with heavy coverage, then this one is not your cup of tea.
